Presented by Dallas Summer Musicals\, the show will appear at the Music Hall at Fair Park March 28-April 8\, 2018. From June 19-24\, 2018\, the show will be at Bass Performance Hall as part of Performing Arts Fort Worth’s Broadway at the Bass series. \nWAITRESS tells the story of “Jenna\,” an expert pie-baker working at a local diner who is stuck in a loveless marriage. Her salvation comes in the form of her daughter\, “Lulu.” \nThe character of “Lulu” is a sweet and carefree 4 to 5-year-old who appears in the production’s finale scene. Qualified young girls should be shorter than 4’2 and be no older than 5 years and 3 months. Individual applicants are welcome\, as are sets of twins or siblings. Space is limited to the first 70 applicants to sign up. \nThe “Search for Lulu” will take place in Dallas on Tuesday\, February 20\, 2018\, at the Music Hall at Fair Park. Audition times are from 9:30 a.m. to noon and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Those attending the auditions should be prepared to be at the Music Hall for approximately two hours. During the audition\, the child will be asked to recite a line from the show. If possible\, parents should bring a current head shot and resume for each child.
